Why outside a hospital

A hospital is where families arrive with a bag packed for one night and end up staying for ten. The patient is being cared for inside. The family waiting outside is not.

They are sleeping on a corridor floor, spending everything they have on medicines, and skipping meals because a plate of food is the one expense that feels optional. It isn't.

For someone already going through a difficult time, a warm meal can bring comfort, dignity, and hope.

What your donation covers

Your donation helps cover groceries, cooking gas, packaging, and distribution, so we can continue this Daily Food Seva every day.

• Groceries — grains, pulses, seasonal vegetables and oil, bought in bulk so every rupee stretches further.
• Cooking gas — the kitchen runs before dawn, every day of the year.
• Packaging — clean, sealed, food-safe containers, so a meal can be carried back to a hospital ward with dignity.
• Distribution — getting the food to the gate while it is still hot.
